I know I haven't posted anything interesting since the new year started. I've been busy with work, and when I haven't been busy with work, I just haven't felt like going through photos and everything.

There's a wave of sickness going around the Double Click Ranch this week. Kristin's got the worst of it, coughing all the time. She's not going in to work, I'm not far behind her, and Tim may not be far behind us. Moose has been mostly lying in the same spot for days, although that is probably more lazy than sick. With about 11 weeks to go until X-Day, I'm realizing that some of the consumable/disposable stuff I'm buying now will still be with me at the time of my move. For example, I bought a package of razors. There are 14 in the package, and I use about one a week. I finally had time to take the car in to the shop. For three weeks now since the wreck, I've been going places on my bike. That actually works out pretty well, going from home to work, getting groceries.

A further complication: because I had procrastinated, my vehicle registration expired (my birthday!), and I had to go to the courthouse and get ( Read more... )

It's been two weeks, and I'm still getting along just fine with the bike. I think I will dig out a pair of gloves soon, though.

Sorry I haven't updated lately. The Haunted Woods is coming up, and I have been-and will continue to be-really tied up with that (maybe literally!).
